"Our Voices, Ourselves" Community Hub Kick off Event

The Our Stories, Ourselves kickoff is a celebration of the arts in Vancouver's Strathcona neighbourhood. To kick things off, the hub will be hosting a community block party. Come help celebrate arts and culture in Strathcona. The kickoff event will begin at 1 pm with Judy Robertson Award presentation and continue with feature performances by Robyn Froese, a lion dance by Fluffy and Friends, ABADA Capoeira will give demonstrations, All Bodies Dance Project Performance, Poetry & Storytelling.  The kickoff party will also highlight art walks through guided tour. You will be able to visit Makerlabs, and Lobe studios (open house from 1- 4 pm). There will be arts and crafts and interactive kids craft area   Vancouver Coop Radio will host live DJ all ages dance event from 4 - 6 pm.
